That’s the best way to start. The Gecko Tour, the most successful Professional European Golf Tour in winter is being held at Los Naranjos Golf Club in Marbella. As part of its 18 3-day tournaments from October to March, this tournament will take place during 12-14 January 2016.
The Gecko Tour remains loyal to its own philosophy which implies a high level competition experience being held in the best golf courses. It gathers all kind of professional players as well as low handicap amateur coming from all over Europe during winter time.
There is no doubt Los Naranjos Golf Club is one of the best golf courses in Spain. Considering we are in Costa del Sol and have the privilege of such a lovely weather, The Gecko Tour is pleased to host this competition now in the first month of the year. From October to March, The Gecko is being held according to its schedule.
The tournaments are 54 hole Stroke Play over 3 days with a cut after play on Day 2. Starting today, Tuesday, reaching up to the final day: 14th, Thursday. There’s a guaranteed minimum prize fund of €10,000 to €20.000 in every tournament as well as several prizes and invitations to other tours.
The tournament is limited to 120 players and the registration deadline entries will be closed next January 12th at 12am (starting day). Tee times will be given through individual email to every player. Also in The Gecko links “Live Scores” in their website http://thegeckotour.com/ and at the Tournament Office. The registration desk will be available from 8am every day from day 12th to 14th. Every player should be registered in person 20 minutes before their assigned tee time.
