Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf and Spa is located in the Region of Murcia, in a beautiful setting between the Calblanque Regional Park and the Mediterranean Sea. The resort is one of the most exclusive golf and leisure centres in Europe where the promise of rest and relaxation is realised in its 1,700 m² spa, the 192 fully equipped rooms, a range of 12 bars and restaurants and first-class padel and tennis facilities.
Golf is one of the reasons why people travel worldwide, and the resort is on every golf enthusiast’s wish list with its 3 golf courses: North, South and West. The very different but unrivalled beautiful courses have witnessed countless world-class events, including several Spanish Opens and PGA Championships.
If any sport distinguishes Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf and Spa among the world’s finest sports complexes, it is golf. Located within walking distance of the resort, Real Golf La Manga Club has three golf courses that have been upgraded, the fleet of buggies has been renewed, the pro-shop has been completely refurbished and the arrival experience at the club has been redesigned.
In addition, the club has a large practice area and a state-of-the-art academy with programmes for all levels, including its “baptism of golf” for those who want to approach the sport for the first time.
And for the little ones, as well as golf, there are sports academies during the summer, both in football and tennis or padel, and the Junior Club service is included for families.
North Course
Designed by Robert Dean Putman, it is technically the most accessible for players of any level. Meticulously designed, it provides the opportunity to take on exciting challenges whilst enjoying the stunning scenery including palm trees, lakes and ravines.
South Course
Originally designed by Robert Dean Putman in 1971 and subsequently renovated in 2005 by the legendary Arnold Palmer, this course is a benchmark in the world of golf for hosting world-class tournaments, including several editions of the Spanish Open and PGA Men’s and Women’s Qualifying Championships.
With 18 superbly designed holes, the South Course features a total of 15 water hazards that add excitement and strategy to every shot. Its wide fairways offer opportunities for strategic play, while the variety of short and long holes ensures a dynamic and varied golfing experience.
West Course
This course, designed by the legendary Dave Thomas, is set amidst a picturesque pine forest at the foot of the stunning Calblanque Natural Park. The course offers not only a spectacular natural setting, but also a variety of challenges to test the player’s skills. With frequent elevation changes, each hole presents a new adventure. The first nine holes require precise tee shots to avoid the challenging ravines, while the second nine, located on the hilly side, offers a narrower and more complex course.
Wellness, Alma’ Spa
Designing the perfect golf getaway involves choosing the ideal destination, finding the perfect golf course, luxury accommodation and planning relaxing post-game activities. At Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf and Spa, wellness and all that it encompasses – sport, meditation, nutrition, sleep – is an essential part of the hotel experience. Alma’ Spa is a sanctuary within the hotel, where products and services designed specifically to complement the practice of any sport, especially golf, have been introduced. Through innovative programmes and a unique collection of treatments such as “Body and Mind Detox”, “Get back in shape” or “Rejuvenation”, the resort has imagined new wellness experiences. The Hammam ritual with natural ingredients, excellent for revitalising the skin, and the 3D Collagen Shock Firming facial treatment, as well as a 440 square metre multi-sensory circuit, or innovative saunas, at Alma’ Spa everything is designed to revitalise body and mind.
The Salut Per qua moment doesn’t stop at the spa, as the resort has an adults-only infinity pool with panoramic views of the golf course and coastline, as well as an outdoor family pool and a state-of-the-art gym.
In addition, guests have exclusive access to a state-of-the-art gym, whether for an invigorating workout or a gentle yoga session, the fitness centre is equipped to suit all needs.
Gastronomy
With up to 12 different dining venues, guests can enjoy a wide variety of flavours ranging from local and international cuisine to sophisticated haute cuisine. Each restaurant is different: the rustic charm of an Italian trattoria in Don Luigi restaurant; the sophistication of Hatsune, with a private chef cooking for only 9 guests; the exotic flavours of Southeast Asia in Asia restaurant; or the tasting menu with food and wine pairing in Amapola gastronomic restaurant.
