On the Costa del Sol, there are places where you train—and others where sport becomes part of everyday life. At Villa Padierna Golf Club and the Racquet Club Villa Padierna, the experience is built around that idea: play, stay, and extend the day beyond the course or the court.

Villa Padierna Golf Club: training with purpose

The practice range at Villa Padierna Golf Club is now fully operational again following work that goes beyond surface-level changes. The entire hitting area has been levelled, a new irrigation system installed, and the grass completely reseeded.

The result is a more consistent and stable surface, designed for day-to-day training. This is not a cosmetic upgrade, but a deliberate decision to improve playing conditions for all levels.

At the same time, 30 olive trees have been replanted in the parking area, reinforcing the Mediterranean character of the setting.

Here, practice becomes part of the experience—not just a step before it.

Racquet Club Villa Padierna: sport as a continuous experience

At the Racquet Club Villa Padierna, sport is not limited to a single activity. The day can start with padel, move into tennis, and continue at a slower pace in the club’s restaurant.

What matters is continuity. There is no need to break the rhythm or leave the environment. The experience extends naturally beyond the game.

Croquet at Villa Padierna: precision, pace and community

Croquet has become one of the club’s most distinctive features.

Driven by the vision of Ricardo Arranz, and marked by the creation of the first regulation croquet lawns in the province of Málaga, it has evolved into a defining element of the club.

It is a game built on precision and strategy, but also on pace. It encourages a slower rhythm, invites conversation, and balances competition with a strong social component.

This combination has created an active community, with players competing at both provincial and national level.

Importantly, the experience remains open—non-members can also access and discover the sport.

Beyond sport: a way of spending time

At Villa Padierna, the experience does not end with the final shot.

The Racquet Club restaurant acts as a natural extension of the day. It is where matches are reviewed, conversations continue, and time stretches without urgency.

That balance between activity and pause defines the overall experience.
