Peter Gustafsson is a professional Swedish player living in La Costa del Sol. A tireless worker, he always had the idea of founding his own golf event company and thus, Golf Experiences and Events was created.
Last year 2017 Golf Experience and Events, the company founded by Peter Gustafsson launched the first Peter Gustafsson International Pro-Am Costa del Sol-Costa del Golf. This event was held in April and it was a great success in spectators, professionals, prizes and organization.
This year Peter wants to take a step further regarding the tournament organization so as to improve the quality of prizes, players, courses and everything around this event. The tournament has changed dates. It will be held between 4th-7th April and it will be a four-day event that will be played in three golf courses. This year Finca Cortesín Golf Club, La Reserva Golf Club and Marbella Club Resort and Spa have been chosen.
The organization has planned 36 teams maximum to play the stableford type tournament. The fee includes one round in each golf course, buggies, training balls, the opening ceremony, the prize giving gala dinner, an event at Tango Restaurant and a poker tournament. These are some of the events that will take place during the four-day tournament.
Teams are made up of different nationalities. Professionals come from different countries such as Sweden, Zimbabwe, Estonia, Poland, United States and Barbados as well as 18 more nationalities. Players like David Lynn, Johan Edfors, Joakim Lagergren and Mar Mouland have confirmed attendance as well as the Spanish players Carlos delMoral and Carlos Rodiles.
In conclusion, Peter Gustafsson intends to consolidate this as an essential event on the Costa del Sol for amateurs and professionals.
