It was opened in 1965. This is an 18-hole 72 par golf course designed by Javier Arana. It is 6,000 metres long and it is surrounded by pines, palm trees, casuarinas, olive trees and cypresses. The course takes its name from the river Real that flows alongside the itinerary all the way to the Mediterranean. All the courses offered by the Rio Real Academy are designed by professionals and tailored to suit your needs, according to your level, intended objectives and players’ availability. There are also courses for children and for disabled players.
The Resort Boutique Hotel located next to the golf course opened in 2001. It was decorated by the prestigious interior designer Pascua Ortega. The hotel has 30 rooms and suites overlooking hole 11. Its wellness spa has different baths circuits and offers massages and facial and body treatments.
