Sheraton Hacienda del Alamo Golf & Spa has become an international destination for golf players as it is located in the so-called Costa Cálida, a stretch of Mediterranean coast in the Region of Murcia that enjoys one of the best climates; the ideal weather to practice any sport any time of the year. It has 154 light and large rooms and suites. Their warm and cozy interiors feature a private terrace, a Jacuzzi and views over the golf course. The wellness area favours all these qualities. This 1,300 square metres centre includes thermal facilities, a fully equipped gym and sport facilities including tennis and paddle tennis courts, a basketball court and a football pitch that meets the FIFA requirements.
Besides, the resort also has eight hall rooms that seat 650 people. They have been designed to host competitions and top sport conferences and they all have state-of-the-art technology, a guaranteed success for any event.
The Costa Cálida has 300 sunny days a year; a perfect invitation to enjoy outdoor activities such as practicing all the sports offered at the resort, spending a day by the pool on a Balinese bed or enjoy a meal outdoors in any of the restaurants designed at the resort for different times of the day.
Nevertheless, golf is the king sport at the resort. The Hacienda del Alamo course was designed by the prestigious golf course designer Dave Thomas. It is an 18-hole par 72 forty-hectare course. Its 6,000 metre itinerary makes this the longest course in the southwest of Spain and its long holes with impressive views are one of the most beautiful in the area.
The 2,000 square metre area where the Club House is located provides golf players with a place to socialize and relax after a golf round. It has a Pro Shop, VIP areas, rooms with a TV, pool tables, a restaurant and a terrace.
