IAGTO Spain called for a meeting in Los Naranjos Golf Club on Friday the 15th of June where golf tour operators and directors of golf clubs in Andalucia met to discuss and agree the terms of a Commercial Protocol with the mediation of the president of IAGTO Peter Walton, and the Spanish Representative, Marco Polacci. The meeting served to reduce differences and reach an agreement that is a small step forward towards closer ties of collaboration necessary if the golf courses want tour operators to sell this destination.
Once the Andalusian golf clubs have signed the Commercial Protocol, Peter Walton will instigate all golf tour operators, members of IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators), some 286 that actively promote and sell Spain, to increase their promotions and sales of this destination.
