The Region of Murcia, already an established destination for golf lovers, has a total of 19 courses with a total of 348 holes, all within a radius of 35 kilometres and suitable for all levels. This allows players to change courses without having to change hotels, providing golfers with a varied and comfortable experience. The design of these courses has benefited from the collaboration of leading golfing figures such as Dave Thomas or Jack Nicklaus.

In addition, the region’s privileged climate, with winter daytime temperatures of around 16ºC, makes it possible to enjoy golf all year round. The Region of Murcia enjoys around 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, which equates to around 300 sunny days, and a mild winter, ideal conditions for those who enjoy outdoor activities all year round.

Beaches and water sports in privileged waters

As well as being a destination for golf lovers, the Murcia coast is synonymous with sun and beach. The Costa Cálida stretches for 170 kilometres and combines wide sandy beaches with beautiful coves and cliffs. This makes it perfect for water sports enthusiasts. From sailing to paddle surfing, kite surfing and scuba diving in spectacular enclaves such as Cabo de Palos and Islas Hormigas, the choice is as varied as it is exciting. It is no coincidence that the latter is considered one of the best marine reserves in the Mediterranean for scuba diving.

Culinary experience with stars

Gastronomy is another of the great attractions of the Region of Murcia, thanks to its 1,001 flavours. With a strong Mediterranean identity, the local cuisine combines the products of the sea with those of the garden, offering emblematic dishes such as caldero del Mar Menor, grilled octopus or salted fish, without forgetting the wealth of wines with their own Denomination of Origin: Bullas, Jumilla and Yecla.

The Region of Murcia has a first-class gastronomic offer, with 5 Michelin stars in various restaurants, as well as numerous establishments that have been awarded the Repsol Suns, many of which are located near the golf courses.
