The 2013 Ladies Western Liga results were announced last Friday at the culmination of the year\u2019s matches between the 9 clubs who participated in this year\u2019s competition. The announcement was made by this year\u2019s president of the Liga, Lynn Nathan at the Lunch that followed the tournament hosted by the La Quinta Golf & Country Club, for all the clubs that contested the year\u2019s matches.<\/p>\n
The end of Year competition is a fun day, with 72 ladies enjoying breakfast then a shotgun start to the golf and Lunch at the La Quinta club all organised by the Professional Team at La Quinta and all the volunteers.<\/p>\n
Following Lunch and the days prizes for every team that took part The Liga\u2019s President Lynn Nathan, announced the results for the Western Liga 2013:-<\/p>\n
\u2022\tIn First Place and winners of the 2013 Western Liga Trophy – La Quinta Golf & Country Club with 91.5 points
\n\u2022\tIn Second Place The San Roque Club with 82 points
\n\u2022\tIn Third Place Alcaidesa Links with 81.5 points.<\/p>\n
Lynn went on to say, that the years competitions were fiercely fought by the participating teams in the home and away matches throughout the year, thanking the clubs for a wonderful year of golf that was enjoyed by all who took part and asked each of the clubs captains to thank their clubs for the hospitality that was shown to the teams during the year. <\/p>\n
Then in her last action as president Lynn introduced the incoming president for 2014 Susanne Folkebo the Lady Captain of Los Naranjos Golf Club. Susanne in her acceptance speech thanked Lynn for all her hard work during the year and looked forward to her year as president of the Western Ladies Liga.<\/p>\n
The Western Liga is now in its 2nd year having been formed by the clubs in the area between Marbella and San Roque.<\/p>\n
