On the 3 & 4 August The Global Philanthropic Gift Weekend 2013 will be taking place in Marbella, with an entourage of celebrities and artists united by a single cause, raise funds for three major foundations, The Eva Longoria Foundation, Fundaci\u00f3n Vicente del Bosque and SOS Foundation. This year, the Global Gift Foundation will also benefit a local association of Marbella, Ser Humano and honor it with Our Heroes Award. Our Heroes Award is dedicated to those whose efforts and work deserve social recognition.
\nThe Global Gift Philanthropic Weekend has the following agenda:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 August 3rd 2013: Global Gift Celebrity Golf Tournament in La Quinta Golf & Country Club: this Golf Tournament with Celebrities allows players to form teams of four or teams of 3 having a celebrity as their fourth player.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 August 4th 2013: The Global Gift Gala in the Hotel Gran Meli\u00e1 Don Pepe Resort of Marbella.<\/p>\n

The Global Gift Galas, are unique gala dinners that are incomparable amongst others, where well loved celebrities and artists join the Global Gift Foundation team to help the most needed.
\nGlobal Gift Foundation to this date has donated 16 million dollars to foundations worldwide such as: Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Eva Longoria Foundation, Caudwell Children, Fundaci\u00f3n C\u00e9sare Scariolo, Fight for Life, Eva\u00b4s Heroes, Fundaci\u00f3n Rafa Marquez, Padres Contra el C\u00e1ncer, amongst others.<\/p>\n

The Global Gift Gala is celebrated in cities such as M\u00e9xico, London, Marbella, Paris, Dubai and Cannes. We asked Mar\u00eda Bravo and Alina Peralta, creators and founders of Global Gift, where their success lies:<\/p>\n

\"Eva<\/a>\u201cThe first step is to have a fiscally responsible foundation, with 100% administrative transparency and a team of professionals who are passionate about their work. Many people have the power to make a difference in the palm of their hand but don\u2019t take the step because they don\u2019t trust just anyone; they need to be assured that their image is safe. Providing them with this certainty is a job of personal relationships since they are part of our network of friends\u201d.
\nAlina y Mar\u00eda comment that one of their biggest support systems in the Global Gift Foundation is through the Global Ambassadors: The Global Gift Ambassadors: \u201cthey form 50% of the pillars to sustain the foundation, and furthermore, they are the echo of the Global Gift Foundation. Every foundation should have its own voice, but a voice with no echo dies, it is important this doesn\u2019t happen\u201d.
\nThe Global Ambassadors represent the Global Gift Foundation with their own voice, their image and their support, transmitting a message of hope and illusion that shows unity, we can make a big difference in our community, our country and the world, restoring the voice to these children and their families so that they are heard.
\n\"Deepak<\/a>Aswell as Eva Longoria, as Honorary Chair in all Global Gift Galas, Mar\u00eda and Alina feel fortunate and supported by other great leaders, celebrities and philanthropists such as Deepak Chopra, H.R.H Pr\u00edncipe Azim de Brunei, Le\u00efla Bekhti, Vicente Del Bosque, Carlos Slim Hel\u00fa, Antonio Banderas, Mariah Carey, Goldie Hawn, Will.i.am, David Beckham, amongst many others.
