Finca Cortesin, venue of the 2023 Solheim Cup<\/a>, is celebrating six months to go until its hosting of the event with the announcement of rising Spanish Ladies European Tour (LET) professional, Ana Pelaez Trivino, as a new ambassador at the resort.<\/p>\n

The LET star will help to showcase Finca Cortesin\u2019s support for the women\u2019s game, as well as highlight its position as one of the world\u2019s best lifestyle and leisure destinations.<\/p>\n

A native to the Costa del Sol, Pelaez has excelled on tour throughout the last year with her all-round technical ability and accurate ball striking, after bursting onto the scene in May 2022 with victory at the Madrid Ladies Open.<\/p>\n

Having celebrated her 25th<\/sup> birthday yesterday, she is widely regarded as one of Spain\u2019s most promising talents and is eyeing up a place on Suzann Pettersen\u2019s European Team in September. An impressive start to the 2023 season with three top 10 finishes in recent weeks has seen her move up into the Top 100 of the Rolex Women\u2019s World Rankings and third in the LET Solheim Cup points list.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is incredible opportunity to represent Finca Cortesin and have their unconditional support whilst playing week-in-week-out on the Ladies European Tour. To be able to play regularly and train at the host venue of the 2023 Solheim Cup is an amazing experience and one that will definitely help to propel me to the next level in my career,\u201d said Pelaez. <\/strong>\u201cThe resort has a great record of supporting local women and girls in the industry and providing them with the necessary conditions to succeed.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

As one of Spain\u2019s best up-and-coming female professionals, we are looking forward having her represent us on Tour at many different destinations throughout the world. Pelaez will represent Finca Cortesin on tour alongside fellow LET players and current ambassadors Nuria Iturrioz and Noemi Jimenez Martin. In addition to professional ambassadors, the resort went one step further last year by making Marta Figueras-Dotti, current Ladies European Tour Chair, an honorary member to align with \u2018One Year to Go\u2019 until the Solheim Cup staging.<\/p>\n
