The golf resort, set on the Atlantic coast of Cadiz province, has succeeded in channelling the months of inactivity of the recent pandemic and focused its efforts on improving its facilities.<\/p>\n

After a short period while everything got back to normal again after Covid-19, the world is once again caught up in an economic and energy crisis caused by the war in Ukraine, the effects of which have spread great uncertainty through Europe. None of this has got in the way of Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club, with the course carrying on updating its services and facilities in keeping with its aim of quality and excellence in all it offers its customers.<\/a><\/p>\n

After working to get its bermuda greens to their best, Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club has now kicked off a second phase of investment and improvement in different areas. Some of this is already visible, such as the new bridges connecting the clubhouse, car park and practice area with the Palmeras and Olivos courses, the recovery and installation of rest benches, the full refurbishment of all the toilets and the improvement to the course signage with hole-by-hole directions and information on the distance to the greens.<\/p>\n

Another significant improvement to the services offered by the club has been the recent introduction of the digital scorecard in tournaments and their online management through the Golf Directo platform. This has been a definite game changer for Costa Ballena Ocean Golf Club as it can now run each and every one of its amateur tournaments in this format and reap the rewards of streamlining their organisation, getting the results in real time and saving effort and paper with the knock-on effect on the environment.<\/p>\n
