In 2009 La Finca Hotel opened. It had 120 rooms. Ten years later and after six million euros investment, the resort has raised its quality standards tremendously especially in service, facilities and complementary activities. The last stage of this ambitious development plan has included important remodeling in the golf courses and restaurants. In addition, improvements have also been introduced in communal areas such as the large terrace, the reception, the caf\u00e9, the spa, the swimming pool and the greenery of different hotel areas.<\/p>\n

There is a wide range of eating facilities at the resort. They have all been renovated and improved with new menus that offer guests an extensive variety within the resort. Thus, La Finca Buffet restaurant has renewed its furniture; Citrus Experience restaurant offers a detailed selection that includes a gourmet tasting menu and there are also other places like The Hub Food & Drink with a terrace and Al Fresco Pool & Grill Bar in the pool area.<\/p>\n

Health and Safety is a very important matter at the resort. La Finca Sport is a rehabilitation, nutrition, personal well-being and training centre. It is located in a unique environment with breathtaking views of the golf course La Finca. It has a multidisciplinary team and custom-made programs aimed at all types of amateur as well as high performance players.<\/p>\n

La Finca Events groups a variety of venues, halls and rooms for events at the resort. All these places, restaurants, hotel halls and two new rooms at the resort can hold over 700 people.<\/p>\n

There are three 18-hole golf courses for those travelers who carry their golf clubs with them. These provide players with a unique experience at different playing levels.<\/p>\n

Villamart\u00edn Golf is the oldest of the three itineraries at La Finca Resort. It opened in 1972 and it is a par 72 course designed by Robert Dean Puttman. Despite being 40 years old, the golf course remains in excellent condition and has firm impeccable greens. Greens at Villamart\u00edn Golf Course are renowned internationally. Hole 17, par 3 is extremely well-known. You have to cross a lush tree-lined walk in order to reach an enormous two-platform green. The second oldest course is called Las Ramblas and these 18 holes opened in 1991. This 72 par course was designed by Pepe Gancedo. The greens surrounding area has been renovated with Agrostis grass; a high quality variety that has improved players\u2019 approach to the greens. La Finca is the last of this resort\u2019s golf courses. It opened in 2002 and just like in Las Ramblas course, redesigning and restoration works have been carried out at hole 16. It is an impressive par 3 hole and after the reformation it has become yet another representative hole of the golf course.
