It is especially significant that some of these golf courses have held some of the most important professional golf championships in Spain. The Costa del Sol has positioned itself as one of the most important leading destinations. Arturo Bernal, the General Manager of the Costa del Sol Tourism Board says \u201cLa Costa del Sol offers over 70 golf courses, nearly 70% of the existing courses in Andaluc\u00eda with a turnover of 1,410 million euros annually\u201d.<\/p>\n
