The five-star La Manga Club<\/a> resort has an added spring in its step after being singled out for praise and being honoured by Golf Digest<\/em> magazine, the world\u2019s biggest golf title, for the third successive year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarded as a golfing Mecca by many players across the world, the iconic Murcia sports and leisure venue further enhanced its status as Spain\u2019s flagship resort after being selected by the magazine to receive a coveted \u2018Editors\u2019 Choice Award for the Best Resorts in Continental Europe\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revealed in the latest issue of Golf Digest <\/em>\u2013 which has more than 1.5 million subscribers in the US alone \u2013 the awards celebrate the elite golfing venues in the global golf industry, with the list compiled by a combination of the magazine\u2019s group of international affiliate titles and around 1,200 golf-course raters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set in an exclusive corner of Murcia and three times the size of Monaco, La Manga Club has been attracting golfers in their tens of thousands for more than 45 years, with its extensive facilities<\/a> including three 18-hole golf courses<\/a>,, a nine-hole, par-47 academy course and first-class golf training centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official overseas training base of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), La Manga Club\u2019s extensive other facilities include a 28-court tennis centre<\/a>, a recently-opened European Cricket Performance Centre and a 2,000sqm Wellness Centre. The resort is host to Spain\u2019s only official Chelsea FC Foundation Soccer School while, in addition, it features the choice of a five-star hotel, four-star serviced apartments and townhouses and more than 15 bars and restaurants.
