The Toro Tour team would like to thank all the players who have competed in the first events on this years schedule. It has not been easy with all the Covid-19 restrictions, but you guys & girls have been brilliant. Without you respectfully adhering to the Spanish Golf federation Covid guidelines, and enduring the government travel rules, there would be no tour.
Because some countries are still enforcing quarantine rules for returning players, we are aware that many of you have extended your stays in Andalucia to play the remaining events on the TT Schedule. With this in mind, the TT has included some more golfing events and playing opportunities for our players.

About Toro Tour
The Toro Tour is a new brand launched in 2020, after the crippling Corona virus lockdown in Southern Spain’s Andalusia. Due to the cancelation of golf tournaments around the Europe, many players have been denied the possibility to compete. This is vital for the progression of young players seeking golfing scholarships. Increasing their World Amateur Golf ranking position while studying, increases the opportunities to represent good universities. Thanks to the warm temperate climate of the Costa Del Sol, golf courses are in tournament condition all winter long.
In order to primarily cater for professional and amateur players, the Toro Tour has partnered with the Peter Gustafsson PG Sports and Golf Academy, Atalaya Golf Club and San Roque Club. Fighting back the Covid situation, whilst maintaining to all government regulations, the Toro Tour is pleased to announce its first Winter Series of events and invites golfers from across Europe to come join us.
All three day Toro Tour events will conform to the regulations of the WAGR authorities and be listed on the WAGR. The Toro Tour uses the entry fees to subsidise green fee costs, prizes and prize funds. All additional sponsorship will also be used to boost the prize funds for the professional players. Through their efforts and dedication to golf, the Toro Tour collaborators with European Tour experience, hope to run the most cost effective yet professionally run events available in Europe this winter.
About Azata Golf
Azata Golf course is the newest golf course to open in the Costa del Sol. It might be a new course, but it already has a reputation for having greens that compete with the best in Spain. Our tournament will be the first Pro event on the course and one of our players will officially set the course record. Local news and media are going to be present to record the moment and that player will feature in the Spanish news.

Once you register for the tournament and your name is on the players list, Azata GC will allow those players use of the Golf course for the duration of their stay in Andalucia. This will include super discounted green fees available any time or day (Subject to other bookings).
