The courses located in the Region of Murcia are three parkland courses, but with fundamental differences between them; Hacienda del Álamo and Saurines share some of the essence of a desert-parkland style, but only at first glance, as the first was designed to host major events, while the second is based on aesthetics and is arguably one of the European desert courses most akin to Arizona. The third, Mar Menor, was designed by Dave Thomas and Jack Nicklaus, a parkland resort in its purest form without a doubt where 2 designs have been integrated in 1.
Marina Golf Mojácar was designed by Ramón Espinosa, whose architectural vision was a combination of plain and mountain areas in small places; 5,272 metres long itinerary with some golf holes near the seaside and others near the mountain.
Hacienda del Álamo Golf Resort
Hacienda del Álamo Golf Club is a par 72 designed by the famous Dave Thomas, which boasts an 18-hole course perfectly integrated into its surroundings with large greens and strategically placed obstacles. Its academy has a bunker area, a chipping area, a large putting green and a natural grass practice area. Additionally, guests can improve their swing with the latest TrackMan technology at the UGOLF Academy by Thomas Johansson. On top of this, the clients of Hacienda del Álamo Golf Resort have several rounds in Mar Menor and Saurines Golf Courses included in their packages, completing an unforgettable golf experience.

Saurines de la Torre
Saurines de la Torre Golf is a Jack Nicklaus design with huge similarities to the desert courses of Las Vegas and Arizona designed by him, but with a concept of linked holes. It features undulating fairways through to sand dunes and greens with impressive contouring, few bunkers and a large central lake.
Since it opened, the Saurines Golf course has been a benchmark in the area, but it lacked a putting area and a well-equipped clubhouse, improvements which UGOLF have now made and which players have been able to enjoy.
Mar Menor
Mar Menor is the flagship of the three courses that UGOLF Iberia manages in the Region of Murcia and one of the most played in the area. The course has the distinction of been designed by both Dave Thomas and Jack Nicklaus and it is impressive to see the effort made by the two designers to integrate two designs into one, without them looking out of place next to each other.
UGOLF has designed a new course maintenance plan at Mar Menor to meet the standards required of a top-class resort. Its five-star Caleia Mar Menor Golf & Spa, right next to the course, completes the picture of excellence with 64 rustic Mediterranean-style rooms and The Residences apartments, a further perfect accommodation option for a family holiday, a trip with friends or a golfing short break or long stay.
Marina Golf
Its 18 holes are divided in 9 holes near the beach and 9 holes located in an environment surrounded by mountains; different points of view and even different kinds of weather. Apart from this distinguishing feature, the golf course has superb tees from some holes, excellent fairways and three strategically located lakes that add interest to the game.
In the last years, improvement works have been carried out, especially green areas and gardens and thus, providing players a garden to play golf near the sea with breathtaking views along the itinerary.
However, Golf is not the only advantage of the area.
