Located in one of the key wine-growing areas of Condado-Campiña in Huelva, the Wine Centre has been set up in a single building that is the focal point of the province’s entire oenological tourist industry.
It represents a space that interprets the area’s wine within its own environment. However, much more than just a museum space, the centre also promotes Huelva province through the world of wine – both its cultural and geographic aspects.
The Condado de Huelva Wine Centre, which opened its doors last summer, is a commitment by Huelva’s Diputación Provincial (provincial parliament) to boost and strengthen the Condado’s wine industry from a tourism perspective, offering visitors the opportunity of learning all about the wines produced in the area, from their origins and varieties to a productive process that follows the most traditional methods and also makes an important contribution to maintaining the ecosystem and preserving nature in an area that is close to the famous Doñana Nature Park.
This is the starting point of a journey that provides visitors with a generic view, not only of Condado de Huelva wine, but also of the area’s history and surroundings. But the journey does not end with a visit to the centre: this is just the start of a tour that enables visitors to learn more about the area’s wide-ranging tourism attractions; of course, including visits to the various bodegas that form a part of Condado de Huelva Wine Route’s Product Club.
The centre is divided into different rooms that give visitors a virtual trip through the Condado, an interactive experience including sound and dynamic surround video projections, featuring “denominación de origen” wines, wines from Doñana, 4,000 years of wine-growing in the Huelva area, tourism and wine, the social nature of wine, and wine and the senses.
To invigorate the area and bring visitors closer to the Wine Interpretation Centre, as well as to the Condado de Huelva’s wine-tourism industry, the Diputación Provincial, through the Patronato Provincial de Turismo (Tourism Board) in collaboration with the Huelva Federation of Entrepreneurs and in conjunction with nine bodegas in the Condado and other businesses and tourism services in the province, has created the Condado de Huelva Wine Route Product Club.
This comprises a varied range of wine-tourism initiatives including 11 packages that visitors can book in order to learn more first-hand about the Huelva area’s wine-tourism attractions. The bodegas taking part in this Product Club are: Bodegas Oliveros, Bodegas Iglesias, Bodegas Juncales, Bodegas Sauci, Bodegas Andrade and Cooperativa Vinícola del Condado in Bollullos del Condado, Bodegas Infante in La Palma del Condado, Bodegas Contreras Ruiz in Rociana del Condado and Bodega Diezmo Nuevo en Moguer.
The range of options offered by the Condado de Huelva Wine Route Product Club through its 11 packages are:

2. Premium/VIP wine tastings.
3. Wine and livestock
